Hot Chocolate on a Stick. Need I say more?!

Since my youngest munchkin turned one, I have made these little goodies on a stick as part of a Hot Chocolate Bar for her birthday party every year and it’s always a big hit. Now that her 3rd birthday is in a few days, I thought I’d try changing it up and try a new recipe (I know, I’m so last minute!).

I absolutely love how this new recipe turned out and wanted to share since these are perfect for giving out as gifts this upcoming holiday season. I mean, who wouldn’t love to get a few of these, right?

Nothing says good morning like a batch of freshly baked blueberry muffins.

I love extra crumb topping on mine!

My little munchkins love blueberries more than any other fruit in existence… and that’s great, you know, antioxidants and all. Fortunately and unfortunately, my entire family knows that.

This past week, we were given several giant containers of organic blueberries by various family members: 3 lbs total to be exact (in addition to the 2 pints we already had at home from the farmer’s market)!

What am I supposed to do with all those plump, juicy blueberries before they went bad?! Of course, I froze some for smoothies, but some were starting to get soft and I just wanted to find a way to use them up!

Almond Croissants Creamy Almond Custard Filling

Wait.. what? Aren’t almond croissants a breakfast item? I know I know.. this blog is supposed to be about desserts and/or design and here I am doing a recipe on breakfast. Aileen’s losing it.

Well I loooove almond croissants, my family begs for them, my friends love them and just about anyone I’ve had try them will always ask me to bring them to the next get together. They’re crispy and buttery on the outside with a creamy filling in the middle.

And I eat them for dessert. So there. Happy? I know I am. =)
